This editing process is very time consuming and difficult because it includes everything from spelling and grammar to how the author wants the text to look on the page.The first thing I had to do was approve the cover picture and all the print on the front and back. It took a couple of steps to accomplish this task, but it’s now done and the cover is beautiful.
Editing the galley proofs has taken much longer than I expected on this second book. Because I have very definite ideas about how my books should be formatted and because the Hawaiian vocabulary requires special treatment, the process takes longer than expected.
