Writing Progress

As of this writing, I have finished the first draft of THERE IS NO VEIL. I have sent out copies of the manuscript to 12 people who have agreed to read and critique. My readers range from ages 38 to 92 and are of varying nationality, background, education, gender, religion, and social status. I am looking forward to studying their results. When I have made my critique corrections, I'll edit the entire piece one more time.

For this book, I have chosen not to use an individual editor.I learned a great deal from the editor of my first book, but I felt that many of her changes were not choices I wanted. The work of this book is dependant on no one but me.

Now I'll submit my manuscript to the editing department of my publishing company Outskirts Press, and when that process is over and I have made my changes, I'll send in the resulting draft for publication. I'm looking to May to have the book published and available to the public. Writing it has been bitter-sweet.
